The new A2B is our largest modular portable conveyor family and is capable of moving in excess of 150 tonnes per hour. The A2B includes Walking Conveyor modules for use with TBM machines for continuous mining and tunnelling.
A2B is a modular conveyor system designed with machine loading in mind and with a genuine capacity in excess of 150 tonnes per hour. Manufactured in 2 metre modules using heavy duty steel. Each module is designed to allow stacking and fit on a standard 'Euro' pallet for ease of shipment. The A2B is easily assembled on-site as each module is man portable. The 4 metre 'head & tail' base units with drive and load ends can be increased in length with additional 2 metre modules, up to a total conveyor module length of 24 metres (subject to conditions and loading). Mulitple lengths can be interlinked using low voltage inter-connectivity.
The first major project for A2B (v3.0)was at The Presidio in San Francisco. One of America's greatest natural and cultural treasures, it has been transformed from a military base to a national park site unlike any other. It will pioneer a new role for a national park by creating a global centre dedicated to the world's most critical environmental, social, and cultural challenges. Contractors for the US National Parks Service are using A2B for environmental clean-up and landscaping of the cliff and beaches around the Golden Gate bridge.

Each module is designed to be Plug and Go with low voltage connectivity allowing each module to be fitted with a STOP button (alternative safety systems available). The A2B is available with either plain or chevron belts and is supplied with a powerful 4kw sealed drum motor.
